The photogrammetry and reverse engineering project of the generator covers for units 1 and 2 of Dez Dam in Andimeshk was carried out by Abad Deghat Markazi Company using modern imaging technologies and 3D analysis. In this project, precise 3D models of the generator covers were prepared using industrial photogrammetry methods, followed by a reverse engineering process to extract high-precision 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
Implementing this method resulted in significant savings in measurement time, increased accuracy of the models, and complete documentation of the current state of the equipment. The project results played a crucial role in the redesign, reconstruction, and effective maintenance of the Dez Dam power plant equipment.
